Contact form
When you write to us, your name, email and message reach the Association’s mailbox. We use them only to reply to you and never share them.
Map
The map is loaded from OpenStreetMap servers, which see your IP address like any website you visit.
Weather
The “Now in Koumaros” box (home and “Getting here” pages) shows the current weather: your browser fetches it directly from the Open-Meteo service (open-meteo.com), which sees your IP address. We send no other data and no cookies are used. Sunrise and sunset times are computed in your browser.
Hosting
The website is hosted on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages), which keeps technical logs for security purposes. When you send the contact form, your message passes through Cloudflare’s servers to the Association’s mailbox (Microsoft 365) without being stored there. Cloudflare may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards required by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
Memory archive
What you send us for the Memory archive (photos, letters, recordings) reaches us by email or in person, not through the website. We publish it only with your permission, credit you if you wish, and remove it if you ask. GPS location is removed from photos before they go online.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data by writing to us. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
